Im not sure if this is damage or a die crack. Also the date I'm not sure what's up with that. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks guys.

Agree with the scratch. The date looks like many of the well-circulated '37 (not 1939) S wheat cents I have. Just lots of minor hits and circulation wear.

If it were a Die Crack, it would be raised from the fields. Yours is Incuse
which indicates a scratch.
Nothing on the date that would indicate anything other than just damage.
