I'll be sending my gift out today, hopefully my member finds it to there liking. If not feel free to sell/trade if it's not something you collect. It's tough to gift to someone when you don't have anything you know they collect.

I think it could encourage those that might otherwise wait to the last minute.

Wow!!!! My secret santa gift came today. A BU Peace dollar. Thank you secret Santa. It won't be going into my Peace dollar album...I sold that set a few months ago to concentrate on classic commemoratives...but it is a beautiful example and has bumped its way into my 7070 type set. Thank you for your generosity

I will begin posting the received list tomorrow but first I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to one of our members in New Zealand. We have one (1) member from New Zealand who is part of this exchange. That member was assigned to someone from out of NZ. Due to Covid and lockdown of the mails by the New Zealand government to send a small package to New Zealand would cost a minimum of almost seventy (70) dollars - that is just wrong and no member should be asked to pay this much for the exchange.
The person who was assigned this New Zealander was reassigned.
I contacted another member in New Zealand who is NOT a member of this exchange and he agreed to send out a gift within his country- Expecting NOTHING in return.
This is the Best example of the Spirit of giving and what this Exchange is all about.
Again thank you my "friend" you are the Santa.

@rggoodie, Why don't these New Zealanders exchange gifts with each other?

Because only one (1) New Zealander signed up. The other did it as an act of kindness when I asked him for the favor and I do not even personally know the man.

I received the 1979 Nickel & Dime set from my secret Santa. Although these are nice coins and collectible sometimes what we receive is not something that connects with your collection. At my recent coin club Christmas party we allowed members to exchange their secret Santa gifts and was hoping that this would be allowed here. So I am offering to anyone the 1979 Nickel & Dime set along with 2 silver coins for what they received. Do I have any takers? Send me an email.
