I don't think the damage is that bad. The coin was on ebay and ended up in another online auction. A straight XF40 sold 09/26/21 for $1600 here https://www.davidlawrence.com/product/2309111/#. PCGS price guide says $1750. A slab comment is either 'OFF' or 'ON', but that comment has to be evaluated, and has an influencing value range.
