Good evening community. This coin looks as if there is deteriorating. Yet the spots of fading have cracks and more then one. The ear and date as well as the words. The date seems 2 look like it says 19822. Under the date there is a bump of meatsl right where the mint mark is. Reverse look off in one cent. Just wondering would this be Machine Doubling or a double die. I apologize for all pictures

We want to save the best coins, and spend the ones that are distracting. Damage to a coin is not a plus for the coin, it turns it into a cull coin.

You really need to work on your focus skills. You're asking us to see fine details, so your photos need to be sharp. Practice, you'll get the hang of it.

What is the weight of this coin? I'm guessing at around 2.5g, and what you may be seeing are linear plating bubbles and the beginning of zinc rot
