Buy-It-Now Listings Disappearing On Ebay

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I had 18 items listed on ebay, 10 of which were Buy-it-Now items which were listed as 'Good 'til Cancelled'.

This afternoon I looked at my ebay sales page and only my auction items were showing - all the BIN items had vanished!

I got into the Seller Hub. The BIN items were showing, but there were no photos or descriptions, and beside each item was a little padlock in the 'Item Specifics' box. All these items are things I'd had on ebay for several weeks if not months, and I hadn't ever got into the listings to change them. When I attempted to edit one of them to see if this would make the listing reappear, it didn't work.

In despair I phoned ebay, where a very nice employee said there was a mistake in all these listings, he didn't know how it had happened, and that I'd have to delete each item and re-list it. I tried deleting an item but couldn't - he had to talk me through how to do this on a different screen that I had never used before.

I re-listed two of the items but within half an hour one of these became 'invisible' again!

A quick 'Google' revealed that other users have experienced this same problem, and that it seems to affect listings that are created when you click on 'Sell a Similar Item'...
