I was making a deposit and saw this note sitting on the teller's counter and said "will you take $20 for that note?" She said sure, as her manager and other tellers didn't know what it was when going through an older gentleman's deposit of "normal $20's" They were worried it was a fake, but did not want to anger a longtime customer with a sizable savings balance.

It is XF/AU crisp with an old fold in the corner.

Actually it is a 1929 National Currency Issued from the "Coal region" town of Mahanoy City in NE PA.

Amazing. Closest I've come to that is a group of 12 $1 Silver Certs from 1935-1957. What a lucky find!
