1967 would be 40% silver and should weigh slightly more. There is a variance in weight on coins though so they don't all weigh exactly the same.

40% Silver Clad (1965 - 1970)
Weight:11.5 grams

Copper Nickel Clad (1977 - Present)
Weight:11.3 grams

My question for the OP would be: what is the weight of both of your coins?

Welcome. That would be the correct combined weight combined. Save the 1967 and spend the 1983, unless there isn't a tiny "FG" between the right leg and wing.
