Good evening community and happy holidays. Can you please explain the date on obverse as well as letters.
Reverse side looks like to many columns. Any info will help. And can someone explain the saying CIRCULATION HIT!

If I understand you correctly, it seems you're asking about the lack of a mintmark on the cent? This coin has no mintmark because it was minted in Philadelphia, and cents made in Philadelphia do not have mintmarks (with the exception of the 2017P).
The cent you posted had 12 columns which is the proper number of columns for a Memorial cent.
I believe the term "circulation hit" refers to post mint damage, or damage that occurred after the coin had been made.
All in all, this looks like a normal 1969 Lincoln Cent with some damage. Hope my explanation helps!

Not sure exactly what questions you have regarding this cent. Circulation wear and tear of poor Abe, the 6 and the 9 have hits from circulation... the columns on the Memorial are meant to look 3-diamenional. What else would you like to know? I see no errors on this cent, it looks pretty normal to me. Can you better explain what you see and are wondering about?

Why does the date have black line through the middle of all number. I'm always given material to look up by community and alot of my coins look as if doubled as the material I read by community. I'm not looking to sell any findings. The coins I post are my 7 yr old sons. My ultimate goal is to find something no one has seen yet. Son my sons name will be in a book about money forever. I love this community for taking the time to look and read my post. Everyone has been helpful and taught me alot. Thanks again for all support.

The black line you see is an illusion created by the lighting. The shape of the numbers (also called devices) are reflecting the light in different directions.
