Combined Shipping Issue For Bin Sales

otto Pillar of the Community United States 1326 Posts	Posted 12/15/2021 3:43 pm I have mostly listed auctions for my coins. I use the simplified listing tool, as I'm a really small-time seller. I have combined-shipping enabled, but ebay doesn't automatically apply the rule. I'll send an updated invoice and have never had issues until I decided to try more "Buy it Now" listings. I have asked buyers of multiple BINs to put the items in their cart and then request an invoice. I don't how this works or if it works (I have never tried this as buyer - I almost exclusively favor auctions) Today I had someone send a screenshot of his cart with a question about shipping, but the fact that he had the items in a cart didn't seem to allow me to send a corrected invoice. I ended up agreeing to enclose a refund with shipment. Would appreciate any insights. Report this Post to the Staff

Classic Coins Pillar of the Community United States 940 Posts	Posted 12/15/2021 4:08 pm Last week I won four auction-style lots of stamps, and tried to to request a combined invoice from the seller. ebay has a method for doing this, but when I followed the steps properly, I got an error message that didn't let me proceed. I then sent a message to the seller who noted that he would be away for a week, and waited a few days for a response, but got none. Then ebay started sending me messages requesting me to pay the seller. I sent a message to ebay to report the glitch, but all I got was a message saying that ebay will NOT respond to my complaint. I ended up paying the individual shipping cost four times just to be done with it. Report this Post to the Staff

If you win an auction, but wait to pay, it's easy for a seller to send an invoice for one purchase, or if they win others, to update. It just occurred to me that maybe if I adjust my setting regarding immediate payment, I might be able to send a corrected invoice Report this Post to the Staff
