Agree. My first thought is common business strike--not proof. Would have had a S mint mark had it been a proof. A quick examination of other '79 nickels shows a similar LIBERTY spacing.

As far as I can see, your looking at a normal business strike 1979 Nickel.

Definitely not a proof as this coin was minted in Philadelphia not San Francisco.

This looks like a normal business coin.
