Here's a third Index to modern-era US commemorative coins that feature stars in their designs. The coins included here were issued from 2002 to 2011, the third decade of the series. The program's third decade got off to a slow start, but went into overdrive between 2008 and 2011 with nine new "star coin" issues.

All of the linked posts below were made over in the "Post Your..." Gallery area within the "Coins with Stars" thread.

You will find my two previous Indices to the modern commemorative coins issued 1982-1991 and 1992-2001 here:

- Modern US Commemorative Coins with Stars - Part I (1982-1991)
- Modern US Commemorative Coins with Stars - Part II (1992-2001)

My Index to classic-era coins can be found here:

- Classic US Commemorative Coins with Stars,

And now, the linked Index:

1. 2002 West Point Bicentennial
2. 2004 Lewis & Clark Bicentennial
3. 2005 Marine Corps 230th Anniversary
4. 2006 Benjamin Franklin - Founding Father
5. 2006 San Francisco Old Mint - Silver Dollar
6. 2007 Little Rock 50th Anniversary
7a. 2008 Bald Eagle - CuNi Clad Half Dollar
7b. 2008 Bald Eagle - Silver Dollar
7c. 2008 Bald Eagle - Gold Half Eagle
8. 2010 Boy Scouts Centennial
9a. 2011 US Army Founding - CuNi Clad Half Dollar
9b. 2011 US Army Founding - Silver Dollar
9c. 2011 US Army Founding - Gold Half Eagle
10a. 2011 Medal of Honor - Silver Dollar
10b. 2011 Medal of Honor - Gold Half Eagle

Enjoy! Lots to learn and discover!

Fantastic!

It seems like there are more stars on coins than any letter of the Latin alphabet.
