Yep, it's not a coin, but a "good luck charm". The inscription reads, in the traditional order top-bottom-right-left, "Zhao Cai Jin Bao", literally "invite wealth receive coin", but more poetically "let wealth and treasures come to you". The mythical animals on the reverse are a dragon and phoenix, often used together to symbolize wishes for a long and happy marriage.
