I remember this happening to a neighbor's child sometime back in the 60's. The poor mother had to monitor the situation for days to verify exit . .  |

I definately swallowed at least 1-2 coins as a kid. I honestly don't remember ever passing them lol. I thought it was a good joke:p

I doubt that children would swallow a coin on purpose. Assuming its a mistake, that type of error can result in an "intestinal brockage".
