Hello All,

Could someone please do me a favor and put me in my place? :) I think I've lost my mind. Is this the rarest no error coin in USA history?

Take a look at the edge for the copper. Pretty sure it's a Philadelphia Copper/Nickel Clad unless it's been plated after minting

Where is the mint mark on a 1976 Eisenhower silver dollar?

Circulation strike 1776-1976 dated Eisenhower dollars were struck at the Denver Mint with a "D," and at the Philadelphia Mint with no mint mark as was normal for coins struck for circulation at the Philadelphia Mint at that time.

. What makes you think it is rare? I see a fingerprint on the reverse.

to the Community!

Your post was moved to the appropriate forum for the proper attention.

All bicentennial silver Ikes have a Variety I reverse. This is a Variety II reverse.

Philadelphia minted Ikes will not have a mint mark.
