I have a few '46 Lincoln's that I'm looking at a lil closer, seems the 4 & 6 aren't as well defined as the 1 & 9 in almost every one I have lined up! Is that indicative of Die Deterioration Report this Post to the Staff
nick10 Pillar of the Community United States 3207 Posts	Posted 02/19/2022 6:32 pm that can be Die Deterioration or a press pushing the die with relatively less force than usual I've never seen a list of weak strike dates, but it might exist. For nickels, 1954 and 1955 are years with lots of weak stike coins. Report this Post to the Staff
