I think all of us have an obligation to contact ebay about this creepy individual:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/185331570445

Report his listings.

Yes, we've seen this. A little 'smoothing' manipulation in image processing software may be in-play as well.

Why? The coins belong to him and he's free to do with them whatever he desires.

nfine, I actually sort of agree with you. Might sound strange, but when a person is doing the damage to these Morgans that he is, it just makes the natural ones that we all have worth that much more. really stinks for people who are new to the coin collecting hobby that see them and buys them for way more than they are worth.

Here is a fun side-by-side of the coin I had bought. I did get a full refund.

First off, thank you for testing the water. I ran across this shyster's listings a few months ago and figured it was image manipulation more than polishing. I am curious if you left feedback and if negative or neutral was it removed?

I don't know. The seller has almost 15,000 positive reviews and only 15 negative.

dave700x, they took my return with no hassle and quickly refunded, so I decided to leave them no feedback at the time. Looking back, I probably should have left negative or neutral

Something can be legal and ethically repulsive at the same time. ebay purports to be an ethical marketplace.
