There is a lot going on here, and it does seem like a lot to navigate through, learning the acronyms, etc. It does get easier as you go along. The good part is that there is a lot of info to read at your leisure, and when/if you have questions, just scroll down the list to find the right section to post it in. The best way for me is to log in, then click on the "New Posts" tab on the top of the page. As it says, doing that will show only the new posts made since your last visit. Hope this helps!
