Owl Coin - Ancient Greek?

I was looking at a batch of old coins, too worn to ID, last night and I suddenly found I could make out some details on one.
I recognised an owl. The outline of head on the obv is apparent too. Was I right?
Obviously I've scoured the Numista and the other sites but the choice is so huge. Left facing owls are less common.
I assume its ancient Greek not Roman?
I'm not holding out a great deal of hope but I'd be interested if anyone has an idea what it is.

Here's my summary...

Obv: Helmeted head (my conclusion seeing the round outline of the back of the head
Rev: Owl, facing left, letter(s)? above wing
Bronze
14.3 mm
2.54 gms

The third photo, on blue, is a different angle/lighting and appears to show lettering above the wing.

Possibly "ME" to the right of the owl. I'll go with Medeion/Medeon.
