Hello folks, found what looks to be a 22 no d Wheat cent in a bulk lot, anyone able to tell if this is real? And the value of it is? Thanks!

I will say no. It is an normal Phil coin. The missing D will have the traces, even are very mince or parts. What you see on very close it is an optical illusion, in fact it is the metal texture.

They actually didnt make any cents in philly in 1922, only Denver.
Personally I dont know the series well enough to make a call on its authenticity.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

@Jakes Coins. I am sorry I wrote with out to consult my tables. In 1922 was a production of 7.16 mill in Denver. New York was involve in testing and no coins was release from. Internal studies. All what I wrote is from Mint Director Report.
