Finding Red Poppy without damage to paint almost impossible to find from circulation, because the paint was not inlaid into the coin.
It is my guesstimate (and from my experience) it will take about 4 years to build a 98% complete collection.

Day 133Now that I'm down to only noodling $1 and $2 coins I don't get as many coins for my $500. Apparently there will be some more releases of these denominations soon. Hi MachinMachinMan, I have just been on Youtube watching a couple of Australian coin noodling videos & I saw a couple of strange letters on the 1 Dollar MoR's. The letters are by the front Roo ( A & U seen). I was about to ask a question about the letters on the main forum but I see from this thread that they are called "privymarks".
Question :- Do they indicate a specific mint or something else? Thanks Merv

Hey Merv, I believe the coins you are talking about are the 2019 Mob of Roos with A, U and S privymarks. They don't represent any mints, just the first three letters of Australia. Pretty silly really when you think they can be rearranged to form USA.

Hi Again If it's supposed to be a shortened version of AUS tralia they should have at least done the TRLI as well so that you can make up the full name of the country. Little things like that might help to get more kids interested in the hobby. Thanks Merv

At the time these were released in 2018 even though they were dated 2019 and were known as time traveling dollars. It was a ploy by the mint. There's also a 35 on the coin representing the 35th anniversary of the $1 coin. Still not sure why a 35th anniversary is significant...
