Situation in Brisbane still the same, the odd 2009 $2 coin, usually not worth keeping:
No sign of any other 2009's or notes yet. Only 2008 notes I've seen so far are $20 & $50.

I had a look in "the 'Bay": leaving aside NCLT, all that's available are $1 & $2. Mint rolls of 20 x $1 are asking $50. Still haven't seen any '09 notes, and only one $2 in Darwin; no other coins. Peter Temp: 23.7°C Wind: NW at 9.4km/h Pressure: 1011.9hPa at 6.18am

Strangely, the 2009 $2 seem to have dried up, haven't seen one for ages. Can't remember how many I kept, will have to check. (Just checked got 14) My lone 09 MOR's needs some more buddies, 1 Roo does not make a mob! Hopefully there's more where it came from.

Finding $1 and $2 coins fairly regularly now. Still no sign of the lower denominations though. Steve

I've had pretty decent luck, a 2009 P nickel, 2 P and 1 D 50c and a decent amount of log cabins and log splitters. I also have 2 rolls of log cabin D that I picked up at a bank. Oh, and I also had a Guam quarter at the bank yesterday!

I haven't found any 2009 Australian Decimal coins in circulation... This could be due to the fact that I live in Denver, Colorado, USA! I think it's funny that Gothic Florin posted his U.S. 2009 coin finds in here, but it does show that we and the Aussies do have another thing in common: We're all looking for 2009-dated coins!

I can't seem to find any 2009 US coins in circulation either, I don't understand why they're not out there yet. I wonder if it's 'cos I'm in Australia I do now have a 'mob' of 5 x 2009 $1. Not exactly a flood of them, but they are trickling through.

I got my first 2009 $1 MOR at a local club last night: nice & shiny. I have only one 2009 $2 - previously reported in this thread; but no other 2009 coins or notes. My companion last night got a very nice 2009 $2. Peter in Darwin Temp: 28.4°C Wind: N at 11.2km/h Pressure: 1012.6hPa ... at 8.13am

2009 $1 & $2 showing up in numbers now, and most are pretty well dinged up. Lots of 2008 coins, all denom's flooding in. It appears there's been a massive release of new coins in the last month or so, at least in Brissie anyway.
