50¢ & 20¢ are turning up in numbers in Brissie now. Probably getting 15 or so a week. I've got about 8 Aged Pension $1 now, MOR are quite common. I don't even check the $2's now, got as many as I need.

I did find a 2009 MOR with small Rabbit ears last week.

Except for 10¢ & 5¢, all other 2009 coins now fairly common in Brissy.

Got a couple of the 20¢ with the very fine die crack across the top of the U. I wouldn't have noticed them if it hadn't been for jackool's picture. For me, it only becomes visible at a certain angle.

I have finally found a 20c and four $1 MoR. The 20c is cactus, but the dollars are all straight from a bag and in fantastic condition. All courtesy of the local supermarket.

This sucks - end of the year and no 2009 5 cents and 10 cents coin can be found. I finally found my first MOR dollar coin just a couple of days ago and three kiwi coins today - 2006 10 cents, 2006 and 2008 20 cents. Don't know how that works.

I snagged a $200 bag of 2009 50 cents. 4 rolls were broken. I checked all the coins from the broken rolls and was extremely disappointed in the quality. I kept 10 that I thought might pass as Unc. Every coin had its fair share of bag marks. That's the problem with such large coins. I put the other rolls away for the future.

I think the only way to get a CHU 2009 50 cent will be from a mint set.

Nancy, you finally got a couple of the the die cracked 20c... Great stuff!

Still no 10c & 5c here in Melb.
They will show up as soon as we need them. But one wonders if the mint are sitting on them in the hope of never releasing them. As we all know there is talk of stopping the 5c. Now that I have said that, I will probably stumble on a 2009 5c tomorrow or something hehe.

Still no 5c or 10c here in Perth, either.

I did get 3 bags of 2009 20c at work about a week ago, so I grabbed 5 very nice looking coins from them . All had some bag marks on them though.

Bring back "real" RAM rolls!!
Bag marks suck, but then again, even recent mint set coins have marks! It is from the coins dropping from the belt into the bucket during/after minting, I have been told. But I will not badger on about quality anymore, I think I have done that enough in the past. =o)

Ive been finding alot of shiny 2009 $1 and 50c and a few 2008s around Melbourne.
I've notice there are 2 varieties of the 2009 $1 in circulation, the pension coin and a mob of roos one to.

Hi Agosos, to CCF! The 2009 coins situation in Brisbane is unchanged. Still no 5¢ or 10¢ showing up. Even the 20¢ and 50¢ are drying up. Not many to be seen now. Both types of $1 are reasonably common, $2 are plentiful, but all coins are well knocked around.

I now have 5 x 2007 $10 notes, all from circulation, 3 are nice and free of folds, the other 2 have light folds.

2007 $10 are very scarce in circulation at the present. I only know of one other person who's found any. I haven't seen a 2007 $5 yet. 2008 of both denominations haven't been released yet either as far as I know.

got my first 2009 $1 this week - the "Mob of Pensioners" variety.
just to clarify: from this thread, it seems that no-one has seen either a 5c or 10c of 2009, yet.
Peter, on the road
