Must admit that every time I see anything to do with this coin my sense of justice for the collectors of 1936 raises my blood pressure.

This is IMHO the poster child of collector abuse for the profit of an individual racketeer -

That said - your excellent threads covers the coin well commems and serves as an outstanding research resource.

Somewhat off topic - this is indeed one of the 6 classic commemorative 'stoppers' in honestly circulated state - so excuse my interruption to proudly show off my example acquired after many years of dedicated searching:
