SpenserJ: I agree with you on the information's. Some are pointed, correct: and majority are annoying, with no logics. I prepare an book for RDV's on quarters and today I spend all day to read all kind of suppositions with no context. I do 'it because I am at the end, and I want to know what in news. My opinion is that this is not the doubled die. I would not send it in to be authenticated unless you want that second opinion from a TPG.

Here is a photo that I found on the web ( I was not allowed to post a link to it here) of a dateless 1916 DDO buffalo. Hopefully this will illustrate what I was talking about(the thickening of the hair ties and how that makes them appear closer together)in my previous unintelligible rambling post.

1916-DDO-Buffalo-Nickel-Yes-Or-No
Also note the doubling on the lower two feathers as other rambling posts have pointed out.
