I was looking through the "News" listings on Bing (Microsoft) search engine and saw an ad for Draped Bust cent culls for sale through Walmart. I had to see just what they had to offer, so I clicked the coin's image and got to the Walmart order page shown below.

Then a Microsoft "SAVE MONEY" pop-up showed that I could save 25% on the APMEX web page with the same poor old coin pictured. It was then that I saw the Walmart coin would be sold and shipped by APMEX.

I found this interesting and a little odd, so I wanted to share it with the CCF.

NewEgg started it too. I used to buy from NewEgg all the time, haven't used them in years because now you have to scrutinize really hard to see if your buying from them or some shady seller.

Yeah, it is not as breezy as it used to be.

For what it is worth, you can filter out the third party sources by selecting "Sold by Newegg." There is also a "Shipped by Newegg," which I assume would eliminate things drop-shipped from the manufacturer.

We still buy from NewEgg because their prices are hard to beat (although Monoprice is getting more from us, especially for cables and what-not). What annoys me more is having to maintain two accounts (business and consumer) because sometimes we can get things cheaper from the consumer side (sales, coupon codes, yadda yadda).

Yeah, I think before they added that I was already out of the habit of going there.

I am certain they only added it after they realized so many people were put off and not coming back.
