As I said earlier 97 days for an Economy NGC shipments. That seems to be where they are these days . My last 2 Shipments to ANACS (15 Working Days ) First one 20 total day turnaround Second 18 day Turnaround . To be fair we are now able to access our USPS box in WA State . Then we just walk them back 300 yards to Canada . Saves time and a ton of shipping charges .

I'm seriously crossing my fingers that I don't meet Pacificoin's end of 97 days wait time, I'm not sure my heart would stand it!
We do however have an update today, the standard submission has reached the "quality control/finalized" state, and is therefore only waiting for the gold (supposed to be finished a while ago!) and economy submissions to be finished up! No grades posted yet - anyone know when that usually happens? Thanks!

That happens when it goes to the "shipped" status. I have found their statuses aren't super useful. I had a standard and economy submission sent together. The standard never came out of "Scheduled for Grading" until it was shipped.

Thanks Eric - good to know.
We also have an update today, the standard submission has returned to the "Grading/Quality Control" state.
I love it when things go backwards! Yay!

NGC's website says current turnaround time for Economy is 41 days. To covert that to real-world time, divide by 5 and multiply by 8. That's about 64 days.
My submission is now on its way to me and it's just under the 64-day estimate.

Hey Kanga, Interestingly, I asked an NGC rep a while ago, and they confirmed with me over the phone that their estimates are made in calendar days, and not working days in order to not confuse their customers! They may have given me inaccurate information. But I didn't really need placating at the time, so, I'd be surprised!

Their website defines it as "working days". I would assume they aren't working weekends, but who knows.

As a comparison ANACS received my 31 Coin US Classics under a 15 day submission due to value of 3 of the pieces on July 11th. USPS shows that they are already on the way back . Pick up at WA Mail box Monday Aug 8 . Now that is great service!

I only use ANACS for common 20th century coins. I prefer my better coins to be in NGC or PCGS slabs.
