I haven't found a listing for a 1993D DDO and I'm confident zI found one. The doubling is seen as a slight CCW rotation and spread to the East on the date. Most prominently on the 3 and the 1. There is also extra thickness in on IGWT and the top of Liberty seems to be a bit heavier. I'm looking for opinion and insight as I will send it in to for attribution if the consensus follows my observation. Thank You.

With these pics, I am not seeing a DDO. Save your money, don't send it in.

Not a DDO. Not worth sending it in to a third party grader.

Gentleman, again I anticipated those comments. The 3 isn't flattened. It's actually a 3 behind a 3. I really want to share some of my finds but find it difficult to capture the image properly. Take a 2nd look at the 3. You can almost see the separation between the "3"s. Especially on the NE portion of the device. Would an overlay be helpful? Showing a normal coin vs what I'm trying to share? Thank you again

Can you provide a nice in focus close-up of that 3 then? From the images provided I cannot see it. a coin in hand is much better than distant pictures.

I see a normal coin. There is no hub doubling on the date.
Variety Visa doesn't have any DDO's that year from all three mints:

Wexler shows only one DDO on the Philly Mint, None on the Denver mint DDO:

The hub doubling is very minor on that example. When you look at the images you see Machine Doubling that is obvious, but note the description on this die:

Quote:
Description: An extremely close spread towards the center shows on some letters of GOD WE TRUST and the uppermost hair details.

I see something on the 'E' on WE, so no sure if here is seeing the CCW spread as part of the the DDO. (He included all the image) So this may be why this is included.

Coppercoins show one DDO on the ear area.

But I can't see this as a DDO as the hub doubling would not look like this.

In order for something to be a doubled die, it has to be formed on the die. If you are looking to the right of the devices on the fields, that could be die wear. From the images provided, I just see a normal coin. sorry
