This thread is getting more confusing. I understand the jist of what rocky and silviosi are talking about but I personally think this should be its own thread even if the op discover said coin.

I'm not saying what you are discussing here is invalid. The original coin and question posted seem to be unrelated. If it's a new discovery then it should not be a long discussion on a thread where the original pictures are of a damaged coin and the question had nothing to do with what this thread has turned into.

@Wr. I agree is new for the community. All those things will be in my book and very well documented. Rocky discover this now and do till now a very good job on. Please pardon him.

I will not post a new threat for those Observe varieties. 1964 was a special year for the Mint and produce in fact 4 varieties in all JFK, Quarters, and Dimes. I will work with Rocky for this. Thanks for your understanding..

I'm just confused when I pop onto this thread and see a long ongoing topic that has nothing to do with the question in the thread or coin in question. I'll keep up to date on this topic but IMO it should be its own topic..maybe call it 1965 die varieties? Idk. It's just confusing when this thread keeps popping up.

I'm locking this topic.

In the future please one coin per topic only.

Rocky, stop hijacking topics, make your own. This is like the 3rd time in a week you've said "Hey I want to show you this," and it's completely off topic.
