I don't think anyone will find this coin example with the bust in this direction and the incuse countermark so I post it here for internet memory. I found one on acsearch and another on wildwinds but the bust is in the other direction.

CYCLADIC ISLANDS ANDROS 3rd-2nd century BC
Youthful head of Dionysos crowned with ivy. Rev. Α-Ν/D-R in Greek around a Thyrsus, orned with taenia. SNG Cop. 614.
(18 mm, 3.17 grams)

The coin may have made its way to (relatively close) Aegina. The countermark seems to be a skew pattern, like #13 from this diagram of Aegina C/M's.

Bob;

I knew I had seen that counter-mark before, it is on the back of the Aegina Turtle stater. In fact that must be why I wrote "incuse" counter-mark as my mind went to incuse. Wonderful link and since there are various theories in that document you sent I suppose it is easy enough to think an Aegina banker marked some foreign coins for utilization locally? Thanks again Bob!
