Hey bryan10au, here's a suggestion for eliminating the phone reflection problem. I hold a piece of black construction paper over my phone so that the entire reflection is black.  Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Thank you Hondo much appreciated and that's not a bad idea about the paper I will try that with the next lot of coins I photograph.
The coin cost me $130 which is probably too much but that was the price everyone seemed to be selling it for.
