It is not a doubled die,it is PMD.

@pla, for sure there is some circulation damage to this cent, but there also appears to be typical Machine Doubling in the date.

There real deal has a lot stronger spread on it:

Machine Doubling was very common on 1968-1972 cents.
Is-This-A-Double-Die-1969-S-Cent
Looks like this. Even the big DDO had the same issue with Machine Doubling:

Note the width of the date devices. Then note the mintmarks will not be doubled. Note the yellow arrows pointing to the Machine Doubling on the devices and mintmark. A doubled die is caused by the die, not by the machine. You can have a doubled die with Machine Doubling, but Machine Doubling never makes a doubled die. A doubled die, strikes a doubled die coin. Machine doubling is looseness on the machine.
