First:
The Rules.
1.

US only members with 50 Quality Posts and with at least 1 month of CCF membership to guess.
2.

You get only one guess - but you can change it one time and only up to the time I post the 'guess list'. Once I post up an update list, your guess will be 'locked in'. New guesses after I post up an update list have change their guess - that is until I post up an updated list, and so on. I'll update the list Monday, Wednesday, then on Friday.
3.

Winners will be decided by their best guess to the dollar/cent value of the of coins in a vase
without going over. Any one that goes over is out of the next round (unless everyone goes over then I'll have to make adjustments)
4.

Contest rounds will last 1 Week (Saturday Noon GMT-7 to Saturday Noon the next weekend GMT-7).
Everybody is invited to round one (except as noted above , and Forum rules)
At the end of round 1, the top 50 closest guesses will move on. If there is less than 50 people - then everyone moves on.
At the end of round 2, the top 20 will move on.
At the end of round 3, the top 3 will be declared winners, with the closest guess to a the actual amount gets first place.
Round one will be only Quarters
Round two will be Nickels and dimes combined (that makes it a bit tougher)
Round three will be Lincoln Cents (dated from 1959 to present - both copper and zinc) (you will find out why that is important later)
For each round I will give the combined weight of the vase and coins rounded to the nearest whole number. (you math freaks may be able to use the info garnered from previous rounds to guess better in up coming rounds)
Now the prizes:
