First of many coins for 2010  Cook Islands dollar - shrunken size (Already shown but mine is nicer!) - just joking    Fiji 50 cents and 10 cents - this was the last year the Queen appeared on their coins as Voreqe Bainamarama did his little coup and the country was durrropped from the Commonwealth the next year. In 2013 It was back, but it was decided the faunal route (See my 2012 coins) was the way to go. And Voreqe is still in charge!   2011 NZ $2 and 10 cent coin (Sorry missed them)  The $1 was our only 2010 coin. Edited by Princetane

Plenty more 2010 to come   Plain Australian 2010 $2, 10c and 5c coins. I will leave it to the wonderful others to do their gorgeous commems and NCLT for a while. The next 3 I get "Bridgey"   2010 Hungarian 200 Forint coin showing Chain bridge (I have uploaded this coin in past, but got this better image done today)   Gorgeous Czech 50 Koruna coin showing Prague and its bridge - this coin is a stunner and has some real Face Value ($4)   Turkey 50 Kurus showing the Galatasaray bridge which links Europe and Asia.   Indonesian 1000 Rupiah coin, this coin is worth 10 cents in face value yet its their biggest circulation one! More groovy coins tomorrow from the year of Teach me how to Dougie and Pumped Up Kicks! Was expecting someone to post inbetween mine, but oh well - my last 2010 pieces   Turkiye 10 Kurus (A small coin, Trigg showed 25 and I 50 Kurus, 2009 will see a 1 Lira coin from me)   Swiss 10 Rappen - nice example, many of my Swiss coins are much older for some reason. Some are like 1880 and the same design! |
