The one small mercy from this is that I can stop trawling through the Firuz Shah catalogue of one particularly obnoxious Indian coin dealer, and concentrate my efforts elsewhere.

If anyone has a spare 190 USD, there's a 1356 GB groat (crown mm) on MA Shops atm. (around 310 AUD with GST)

I know I haven't....

Oh dear, I weakened.
Coming from MA Coins, a 1356 Edward III Groat. I'll wait until it is in hand to post it. I have justified it as an early birthday present. Obviously that has been accepted, as WW3 hasn't broken out at home

Only 120 stall days left before the Walking Back from 1600 thread catches up to this one.

(I don't expect that we'd be into the 13th century by then but it doesn't feel particularly unlikely either.)

(Specifically, last time I checked [in mid-August], the expected gaps in the remainder of the 14th century were 1355, 1354, 1350, 1348, 1345, 1341, 1340, 1336, 1335, 1332, 1331, 1330, 1328, 1309, 1307, 1306; some of those had probably been filled by now, and/or might have already been unknowingly-to-me filled by then.)

Yes, very nice little race against Walking back.
13th century may be a stretch. My next blockage will be 1354. I've had no luck but hopefully someone else has one to play.
