Will this be the month we do it?

Possibly. Hopefully @j1m will weigh in on the assertion of Jani Beg's earlier dated coin which could at least open up future possibilities.

I'm going into hibernation.
Someone prod me if there is any movement here.
Peace out.

November Bump.

We still need to get past 1341 C. E. (A. H. 742/741).

Still hopeful of this, but I really don't understand why it hasn't happened yet.

I originally had a source for my assertion that Jani Beg's reign didn't start until later, but seem to have failed to save the tab before it was lost in a browser crash.

I can try to search for it again. Seriously wondering whether we should just push through and ignore the possible chronological problems.

I think that's a good suggestion.
Now if only we had a definite 742h date or a 1341. My next is 1340 / 740.

I read back through the last three pages twice and feel more confused than ever.

Are you saying we count JohnConduitt's coin as "possibly-probably could have been" minted inside of the 1341 C.E. calendar year and move along?
