Someone asked me to check out some coins they had in a baggie , found this guy. Need grade to make an offer for the coin. I'm like maybe vf 35

Appears badly scratched on the portrait side, so I'd say EF details (Sheldon).

It's still a scarce coin .I think it's still worth at lest $350

Still a rare and valuable coin, despite the meter marks which are very common on coins of that era.

A details scratched coin like this should be graded -20 points. I wouldn't pay more then f12 value so I guess it really depends on the price.

This is the same coin you posted on Coins and Canada.
I noticed the grades and value were about the same so I
guess you have confirmation as the grade and value is
about the same on both forums.
