Hello! I have been reading lots of posts in this forum, it has been very helpful. I am in the process of going thru a huge water dispenser bottle jug full of pennies from pocket change the family has collected since the 1980s. I found a 1998 Wide AM Lincoln Cent a couple years ago, then put all the coins away for awhile. Just started back into it, sorting by decade, then year, then mint, then variety, etc. I also ran across my favorite old worn out 1988 Quarter. I always put it somewhere important so as not to lose it, and then can't find it for awhile. Then every time I find it, I stare at it laughing for a couple minutes. Not sure why it is so funny to me. The laser eyes on the eagle are pretty cool tho. I will try posting pics. A better camera is on the way along with a scale to weigh a handful of 1982 D small date Lincoln cents.

As stated in your other topic with same coin, looks like someone did this with a letters/numbers punch or similar. The laser eye is a scratch, funny located. Coin worth 25 cents.
