 Yellen-Malerba Series 2021 notes in production at BEP. The new notes bear the Series 2021 designation, will be delivered to the Federal Reserve early next year, and will enter circulation as the demand for bank notes requires. All notes except the $2 denomination are included in the Federal Reserve System's current print order, so the other denominations should follow as demand develops. According to the Jan 2023 issue of Coin World Magazine series 2021 $1 and $5 are being printed. All I can say is finally. |

The BEP's monthly production report for November 2022 is out.
Series 2021 (series letter Q) $5 bills were being printed in the Ft. Worth facility. A total of 64,000,000 plus 1,600,000 star notes and 10,000 star note sheets.
The November report does not mention series 2021 $1 bills. Let's see what December 2022 report will say.

We need new $5 bills very badly. The last series was 2013 and those are getting very tattered.

You are correct, Steve. I forgot 2017A, but not nearly enough of them were printed, IMO.

I just received a Series 2021 B/A block $1 note.
My go to guy had them.
G/A and G stars just started to roll off the DC presses last month.
