It's been sanded down. People will try to sell anything, and people will buy things that they know nothing about.

Yea, I knew it was bullcrap people claiming from the mint. But I wound up with one in change to photograph to find out intent or some kinda coinage machine that's eating them up somewhere that I don't know about. Thanks &

A foot and a sidewalk can alter these coins with a step and a spin. Just a damaged coin. (intentional damage) Face value now.
