ok I have another one for you guys on the reverse of my 1973 D cent what is that in the left pillar and did it come from the mint that way

Hey, you can see the ridge of finials pretty good on your pic of the Memorial. I am trying to figure out more about that part of the design so thanks.

Die Subsistance error. (Probably the dies were not tempered correctly, as it affects several dies that year)
