groganking Valued Member United States 131 Posts	Posted 03/01/2009 9:05 pm The 42-S is one of the bad strike San Francisco Walkers. The obverse strike is notoriously weak and according to Ambio's guide, the grading services take poor strike into account with the 42-S. I still think this is a 65 because of the marks on Liberty's left (leading) leg and a larger mark on the flag just above the sun rays. Great look --let us know how it turns out. I could see them being leery of creating the $kilocoin which is a 66, but for this coin not to make 65 seriously lowers my opinion of PCGS. Those cretins.
