Note the date on your coin? The devices are smaller and fading on the date area. That tells me this is a die polishing issue from damage to the fields on that area of the date area. Die polishing reduces the size of the devices.
Grease Fill on the die, makes the devices enlarged looking. (Wider and taller) The grease prevents to tapered tops of the devices from showing thus they look larger in appearance, but really are not enlarged devices.
The taper is show the dies and the coins go their separate ways after the strike.
So on your coin the back if the head may have had some die polishing that altered what you are seeing on your coin. This is a die event, not a doubled die issue. The die was altered during the use process. A doubled die will be affected from the very first strike.
