I'm pretty sure it's a LDS with some die cracks forming in some of lettering. Neat little baby Cud at 1K on the obv and what looks like a decent size die crack under the bust.

What that coin looks like is a common case of Mechanical Doubling. I'm afraid that is considered a flaw to most collectors but not me I would keep it label it Mechanical Doubling. Mechanical Doubling happens when the die machine components shake the die during a strike. The chances are some body wants that coin because its a 1943 P silver nickel and some may call the doubling a flaw but to some collectors they may see it as an opportunity to profess a new variety not necessarily a die variety but a Mechanical Doubling variety to collect aside from a nice strike. If its seen through out the whole coin that's pretty cool just enjoy it!

Not a doubled die. Machine Doubling that was a high bounce on those areas you are seeing affected on the tops of the devices. Not the Date devices compare with you coin?

Some of that is MD (maybe most) but on image 5, I see some split serifs (maybe 3 of them) at the end of the S at the top, and in image 6 on the T in the same direction. But not seeing any DDR at all.
