I have 2005 one cent with damaged face. Is this just damage nothing else? Any ideas?

Yes seems damaged. To be clear @buc, can you please indicate whether one side is concave and one side convex? I'm having trouble telling from these pics. Thx.

Weight? If more than 2.5 grams, something was added to the coin. The reverse makes it looks like it was added to the coin post strike, with a pushing movement. If it were a huge die break, then the weight would be 2.5 grams and the reverse area would be blank opposite that area. (Not struck at all on the reverse side on that area in question. Without the die design being present on the obverse, the reverse would be weak on the reverse)

Note the weakness when that part of the die was there, but could not strike up without the pressure from the other die? That is what someone was trying to make it look like.

to the CCF Damage from a bb gun. If you have concave damage on one side, and convex damage on the other side that lines up, it's damage.

Seems to be PMD from a pellet gun. My Daisy Red Ryder BB gun couldn't do that kind of damage to a cent - even a zinc one.
