The German 5 mark note of 1904 P-8 is my favorite note . Recently I tried looking it up on the PMG site and found the Unc condition un-valued. I understand that this could mean they could not find any sales record for the type which could mean it is rare in unc but does not guaranty that. Any one know for sure?

The PMG paper money site (as is the coin site) is far from complete, and unfortunately the absence of prices or listings might be an indicator of scarcity but is not proof by any means.

Sometimes you have to use ebay as a price guide, then adjust accordingly.

Thanks, my thoughts exactly and the euro ebay listing confirms it.
