Turnaround Times For Error Coins - Coin Community Forum

MadDawgMaverick New Member United States 37 Posts	Posted 12/14/2022 12:27 pm Has anyone sent off any error / variety coins to get graded lately, and if so what was your turnaround time? The last major error I sent off was 2019/2020 and needless to say it took forever. But that was when everything went wild. Consignment date for Heritage Auction's upcoming error coin event is February & I am trying to decide between NGC / PCGS if there is even a slim chance to get a coin back before then. Variety Attribution could add an additional 5-10 business days to any Service Level turnaround time approximately. https://www.PCGS.com/statistics To provide greater transparency to customers, all CCG companies post current turnaround times to the Services & Fees page of their websites. These turnaround times now reflect the estimated time to complete a submission delivered to our facility today. (See right side estimates). kanga Pillar of the Community United States 5825 Posts	Posted 12/16/2022 09:34 am I'm currently ignoring PCGS because of their overly long turnaround times. I recently sent an error coin to NGC. It took about 4 months. But it was a foreign coin so that could have slowed things down. Report this Post to the Staff
