What is this called ,on an off sharpness. Date #'s are weak on bottom of #'s.
Back of coins all around eagles head the lines that go north west to northeast in the design and the stars in that area. ARE flat . Lines are doubling . Any extra value ? Thanks

funny hoe both the date on the obverse and the States of on the reverse are both weakly struck (same area of the coin )

yes, the effect being in the same area of both sides of the coin fits the idea of a blob of grease on the die in that vicinity. some of that grease would transfer to the opposite die any time the press operated without a planchet in the striking chamber
