I suspect most here are using the coin scopes. I'm doing it the old fashion way. Loupe and 35mm digital camera. I can't get down to the microscopic (atomic) level but it works for me.

I use a Canon EOS DSLR with a macro ES 50mm lens. Camera is set on autofocus. I use a tripod and remote shutter release. I also use Photoshop CS5 Smart Sharpen set to reduce lens blur.

I'd enjoy hearing and seeing what set up you are using.

this is what I use. pretty simple.

iphone 10 for the camera. led bar light with adjustable neck, slab box for stability. printer paper for the background. its on a tv dinner table so I can move it around if I want to work by the tv or something.
