This was a new kind of find for me , and I am hoping I described this variety correctly. Is this a possible collar clash with a fin rim on the reverse of this dime?

Nice find. I'd say it is worth saving in a 2x2.

In this case, the collar clash is affecting the anvil die, which is quite uncommon. There may be a low fin on the reverse.

2x2 worthy mainly because Mike says it is uncommon.
