I see what you're referring to. I could live with them.

Quote: Got this one in the mail today. ANACS F-12. Very nice! Quote: Unfortunately, the ring ANACS puts the coin in hid a couple of the dings in the edge/rim. I have been trying to be picky about not having any rim dings, but these aren't too bad I suppose. I had to look for them because they did not jump out at me, so I agree with Frog, I could live with them. Probably even less noticeable in the album. Quote: Could be a possible upgrade candidate in the future if I come upon a deal. True.

Another new addition. Was graded ANACS F-12, which I think is closer to F-15

Great recent additions! I'll be looking forward to the day you will be able to show pics of the full set, as you're doing a great job so far in acquiring a well-matched set.

This is a great idea and set.
How about an updated image of the album once you are about 50% complete?

54% complete with the set as of this 1906-D addition. I will try to get some new album pictures to add to the thread.

Beautiful example, but don't let your grading standards slip.

I see you're smart about eye appeal: you're going for nice consistent grey toning with patina in the recesses. Your coins look nice and "alive" (as opposed to dipped-to-death). Also you're making sure that there are still details remaining in Liberty's face. This should turn out to be a very respectable collection.
